mouse monoclonal IgG2b; Op18 Antibody (E-3) is an IgG2b κ mouse monoclonal Op18 antibody (also designated Stathmin 1 antibody, Oncoprotein 18 antibody, Leukemia-Associated Phosphoprotein P18 antibody, Metablastin antibody, C1orf215 antibody, Stathmin antibody, Prosolin antibody, LAP18 antibody, PP17 antibody, PP19 antibody, PR22 antibody, Lag antibody, SMN antibody, Chromosome 1 Open Reading Frame 215 antibody, Testicular Tissue Protein Li 189 antibody, or Transmembrane Protein C1orf215 antibody) that detects the Op18 protein of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA. Op18 Antibody (E-3) is available as both the non-conjugated anti-Op18 antibody form, as well as multiple conjugated forms of anti-Op18 antibody, including agarose, HRP, PE, FITC and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Op18 (for oncoprotein 18, also designated stathmin, prosolin or metablastin) is a conserved, tubulin-associated, intracellular phosphoprotein. Many different phosphorylated forms of Op18 are observed, and it is expressed as two different isoforms. Op18 is considered a critical regulator of microtubulin dynamics and is downregulated by p53. It serves as a transducing protein, via phophorylation, for a variety of cell signaling pathways and involved in both mitosis and differentiation. Op18 is present in many cancers, including breast carcinomas, and is highly expressed in acute leukemias of different subtypes.
