Monoclonal proteins, also called M proteins, are elevated in the blood and urine of patients with multiple myeloma or monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS), a condition which is highly correlated to bone marrow and blood cancers. Monoclonal proteins are antibodies produced in the bone marrow by the cancerous cells.
The availability of well-characterised monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) detecting cell-surface epitopes on human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) provides useful research tools to investigate the c...
We have developed a semi-automated, high-throughput transient expression and purification system that yields milligram quantities of hundreds of proteins weekly. Starting from a glycerol stoc...

First established in the 1880’s, cell culture is the process by which cells are grown in a laboratory under controlled environment. The culturing of different kinds of cells supports sc...
We describe a novel method to measure 1,25(OH)2D. Briefly, this method was built on four pillars: (1) the nuclear vitamin D receptor (VDR)`s ligand binding domain (LBD) as a capture mol...

Monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) have emerged as important therapeutics for the treatment of life-threatening diseases. The succ...
Glycosylation is one of the most prevalent co- and post-translational modifications of human proteins and is known to affect the protein properties. Glycosylation is known to be involved in m...
Complex recombinant protein biologics, such as monoclonal antibodies and coagulation factors, are key components of today’s biopharmaceutical industry. There are many effective paths fo...
The ExpiCHO transient expression system allows for the high titer production of a broad range of recombinant proteins. Due to the high titers observed for many proteins in the ExpiCHO system,...

Most cell biologists culture cells in dishes and shake flasks to produce proteins and biological molecules; however the production of ...
In this Webinar, we will present a comprehensive characterization of a representative monoclonal antibody trypsin-digest in a single analysis. Both small and large peptides (3-65 amino acids...
Traditional testing methods for monoclonal protein in Plasma Cell Dyscrasias correctly identify a majority of patients. However, limitations in these methods can cause patients to be missed...
Variability of vitamin D results remains a hot topic today as more options are available to laboratories. This webinar examines how clinical and analytical factors such as vitamin D binding...
This presentation focuses on contemporary methods for detection of monoclonal proteins (M-protiens) that are associated with multiple myeloma and other plasma cell dyscrasias. The basic princ...
