Forensic instruments are laboratory and scientific tools and equipment used during forensic investigations. Instruments include equipment used for autopsy such as carbon dioxide, restraints, tubes, and bone saws. Other forensic instruments used for laboratory evaluations include mass spectrometers, microscopes, chromatographs. Imaging equipment such as cameras and X ray machines are also used in forensic investigations.
