LabRoots is proud to announce the opening of the Summer 2018 Textbook Scholarship! In supporting undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing degrees in the life science fields, LabRoots would like to offer $1,000 in direct costs toward textbooks for one student. Textbook costs are consistently a challenge for many students. The number of text books needed and the cost of each can quickly be an issue for those who have limited funds per school year. This program aims to support students motivated to progress in the STEM fields, and is open to students both in, and outside the US, with no geographical limits for applicants. LabRoots wishes to encourage all students to stay in science and aims to help students work towards their research and educational goals. The application period has begun: July 1 through September 1 of 2018. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate program (BSc or higher) in a life science field of study.
