Microbiology Virtual Event Speaker Highlight: Jack A. Gilbert

Gilbert. Dr. Gilbert is an Envrionmental Microbiologist at the Department of Biosciences at the Argonne National Laboratory; an Associate Professor at the University of Chicago Department of Ecology & Evolution and Surgery; and Senior Scientist at the Marine Biological Laboratory, Woodshole. If you haven't done so already, head on over to the Microbiology Virtual Event page and sign up/register to save yourself a spot. Dr. Gilbert will be discussing how the immune system and the microbiome have shaped each other in extraordinarily elaborate and intricate ways, highlighting the mechanisms of interaction.
