Thermo Fisher Scientific is excited to bring you the Genetic Solutions Tour 2020, an online event to support researchers in the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) region stay connected to new developments in key areas of genomics, continue building on your genomics knowledge base, share your research with peers and progress your research to the next stage as to navigate your way through the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak.
This virtual event will showcase how Thermo Fisher Scientific platforms for qPCR, CE, Microarrays and NGS are being applied to solve problems in the areas of microbiome research, infectious diseases, reproductive health, QC in genomics, precision medicine, clinical oncology research and agrigenomics.
The virtual event will be conducted on July 1st and 2nd. The venue will be opened at the following local times, for you to explore the virtual environment. The lectures will start 1 hour after the venue open time.
Each day will consist of 4-5 hours of lectures and interactive sessions on different genomic applications.
Event at a Glance
The event features all the activities that you can expect from a live conference and more! These include auditoriums with different content tracks, exhibit halls featuring educational videos, product demos etc. You can also download scientific posters, our latest application notes, white papers and other collateral for a range of CE, NGS, qPCR and Microarray applications. By attending the event you can also avail of product discounts, free samples, and other offers*.
Thermo Fisher Scientific product and application experts will be standing by to answer your questions regarding product use, application bottlenecks and any other questions you might have. In addition, you can also participate in group discussions with your peers and Thermo Fisher Scientific scientists.
The event will consist of presentations broadly categorized into three content tracks 1) Applied Genomics, 2) Translational Genomics, and 3) Agrigenomics. Each track will begin with webinars on SARS-CoV-2 research and viral vaccine development. Each presentation that you attend in any of these tracks allows you to earn points and reward.
