Here's a new and practical wearable innovation for you: a "temporary tattoo" that can calculate the alcohol content in your sweat and let you know exactly how drunk you are. Though the device sounds like it would be hard to take seriously, there's hard science behind this contraption.

There are 2 components to this temporary tattoo. The first is a sticker that has silver and silver chloride electrodes printed on it. These electrodes, in combination with other mechanisms on the sticker, cause the wearer to sweat. Then, the sweat content is analyzed by an electrochemical sensor on a disposable circuit board that's attached magnetically to the sticker. Wearers can know their sobriety on a Bluetooth-enabled phone.

Still sound gimmicky? Developers of the product say the ease of use of the device makes it a better alternative to other methods that may be more painful (blood draw) or prone to tampering (breathalyzers). Watch the video to learn more!
