Does Marijuana Make Bones Stronger?

WRITTEN BY: Anthony Bouchard

Marijuana, a controversial plant that is gaining traction in the United States, has been found to potentially increase the strength of bones by a noticeable amount.

One of the active chemicals found in marijuana is CBD, which was tested on a group of lab rats. It was found that the lab rats had noticeably stronger bones after eight weeks of testing.

It's also worth noting, of course, that CBD was most effective at increasing the strength of bones when it was used alone, rather than in combination with THC, another chemical active in marijuana.

With that being said, it would appear possible that marijuana may offer yet another healing property that can aid in healing broken bones and making them even stronger in the process.
