Tim Friede is a snake enthusiast that keeps various snakes as pets. He even has some of the world's most venomous snakes in his collection, such as a black mamba.

Friede says that ever since a snake bit him when he was a young child, he has had a huge interest in snakes.

Over time, Friede subjected himself to non-lethal doses of snake venom via injection so that his immune system could build up the antibodies required to fight off snake venom of various kinds.

The result is that Friede can take a snake bite from a black mamba without so much as flinching. This venom is a very strong neurotoxin and has been known to stop the human heart and shut down other vital organs.

Friede wasn't harmed in the making of this snake bite video, nor was the snake.
