What Are Kidney Stones?

Some people have likened the pain of passing a kidney stone to the pain of childbirth. Indeed, the larger the stone, the more painful the process is likely to be. Just imagine then, the pain Sandor Sarkadi must have felt when he had a 2.5 pound stone removed in 2009. The stone was so large it resembled a smooth coconut.
