Mapping the Human Proteome

WRITTEN BY: Hilary Thompson

Advancing our understanding of human disease often requires a sound understanding of normal human physiology. A critical tool to provide guidance on human protein expression is the mapping of the human proteome and the creation of the Human Protein Atlas (HPA).  The HPA is constructed of three sub-atlases, Cell Atlas, Tissue Atlas, and Pathology Atlas and characterizes protein expression in cells, tissues, and organs. Learn more about the HPA and the use of Prestige Antibodies® and alternate technologies to map the human proteome.
