Phosphoprotein and genomics
Phosphoproteins are proteins which undergo a process of post-translational modification, known as phosphorylation, resulting in the attachment of a phosphate group. Genomics involves the understanding of the structure, function, and editing of the genome. The presence of phosphoproteins within the genome can be used to understand the genetic makeup of a biological specimen.
