GEDmatch
GEDmatch is an online consortium that compares data from DNA samples which were sequenced by various testing companies. To use GEDmatch, one can upload DNA data to search for relatives who have also uploaded their DNA. While GEDmatch was created to facilitate research and genealogy, it has been used by law enforcement agencies to identify criminal suspects.
