Forensic dentistry
Forensic dentistry is a branch of Forensic Science focusing on examination of dental evidence for criminal investigations. Forensic dentists are involved in investigations requiring identification of human remains which include teeth or remnants of teeth when dental records are available. If dental records are not available, a forensic dentist may be able to identify demographics of an unidentified body such as age, race, occupation, or socioeconomic status.
