From seed to sale, from accurate cannabis potency profiles to reliable, highly sensitive pesticide analysis, the Cannabis and Hemp industries have a demand for robust testing that delivers d...
Food safety is arguably the most important segment of food science and analysis. From residual pesticide contamination to allergens to mycotoxins, there are many ways food can be harmful to...
The selective pressure placed on the resident microbiota by local changes in the host environment – DNA damage, chronic inflammation, metabolic shifts, barrier damage, reduced immunosu...
As a response to various inflammatory stimuli, neutrophils and macrophages expel a mixture of their nuclear and granular elements in the form of extracellular traps (ETs). These web-like sub...
To prepare for the 2019 flu season it is important to get immunized. In 2019 a tetravalent (four-virus) vaccine is available in a number of forms including an egg-free formulation that is for...
It has only been in the last 20 years that we, the scientific/medical community, have appreciated the role of the endogenous Cannabinoid system (ECS) in maintaining a healthy immune system an...
The human large intestine houses trillions of microorganisms which collectively form the highly diverse microbial community known as the gut microbiota. The gut microbiota performs many funct...
The human race, like all macrobiological life, evolved in a sea of microbes. There was no way to keep the bacterial and archaeal hoards at bay, so instead life evolved mechanisms to live with...
