Flow and Mass Cytometry are analytical techniques used in biomedical research. Flow Cytometry detects the physical and chemical characteristics of a population of cells using fluorescent tagging. Mass Cytometry is a Flow Cytometric platform which uses metals to identify cell populations in place of fluorescence.
