Central nervous system (CNS) tumors are masses forming in the brain or spinal cord. CNS tumors can be benign, which are typically slow growing, or cancerous, which are malignant, grow fast, and can spread to different parts of the body. CNS tumors can occur in children and adults and, in some cases, may impair an individual's thought process or motility.
