ROS stress assays
Reactive oxygen species (ROS) are unstable oxygen-containing molecules that can cause damage to DNA and other cellular components resulting in cell death. Because cells release ROS in response to stress, reassuring ROS can provide a scientific readout of stress exposure within a cell. ROS assays can be performed using fluorescent staining and flow cytometry.
