Recombinant adeno-associated viruses (AAVs), lentiviral vectors (LVV), and adenovirus (Ad) are the leading viral vectors for cell and gene therapy. Like other biologics, these viral vectors require rigorous manufacturing and testing procedures to ensure product consistency and quality. Owing to their complexity, viral vectors are analyzed for several critical quality attributes (CQAs) that ensure there is product consistency. As new therapeutics, methods to characterize these CQAs must be developed and can become a bottleneck for analytical development teams.
In this webinar, we will provide expert insights and strategies to help you easily optimize your viral vector analysis on the Maurice platform. We will cover optimized sample preparation and CE-SDS run conditions with specific examples of these methods being applied for viral vector purity, identity, and capsid protein ratio for AAV, LVV, and Adenovirus. Because Maurice offers two CE-SDS cartridges (PLUS and Turbo CE-SDS) to support the entire development process, comparability as well as method differences will be discussed.
Learning Objectives
- Identify the critical quality attributes for viral vectors
- Review method development tips for getting the CQA data for your viral vectors
- Demonstrate optimized methods being used in capsid protein ratio, viral identity, and purity assessment
Webinars will be available for unlimited on-demand viewing after live event.
