Elaine Mai - Biosensing Instrument's SPRm200 differentiates between mono- and bivalent binding of anti-HER2 antibodies to high (SK-BD-3) and low (MCF-7) HER2-expressing cellsDr.
Shije Wu - Fundamentals and applications of cell-based SPR
SPRm (Surface Plasmon Resonance Microscopy) is a novel technology that enables label-free and real-time binding affinity and kinetics of membrane proteins with drug molecules. By combining cell culture and imaging techniques with biophysical assays, the measurements are done in the receptor’s physiological conditions thus providing direct and more relevant information about the binding events. In this webinar, we will provide an overview of the technology with various small molecule and antibody binding examples. In addition, Genentech will show how this technology can differentiate between monovalent and bivalent binding of anti-HER2 antibodies with different HER2 expression cell lines.
Learning Objectives
- Describe principles of SPRm
- Review case studies of small molecule and antibody binding
- Differentiate avidities between monovalent and bivalent antibodies in correlation with cellular expression
Webinars will be available for unlimited on-demand viewing after live event.
