The need for sensitivity - The CytoFlex family and new capabilities

Our Imaging and Cytometry Core Lab is in the Bioscience Technology Facility that serves a multidisciplinary Department of Biology as well as external users through our open access approach.  As such, our samples come from many varied user types that span the breadth of biology and beyond! From bacterial samples through to plant samples, immunologists through to cancer research, neurobiology through to stem cell, ecologists through to environmental control.

Through this webinar, we will firstly look at some novel technologies being exploited at York that will illustrate how cytometry and the need for improved sensitivity is vital. We will look at how best to approach difficult samples types and how we are using the CytoFlex for a wide variety of samples types through both its single tube and its 96 well plate autoloader.
