As novel therapeutic modalities progress through development, improved analytical techniques are required to overcome characterization challenges. This presentation will overview various high resolution separation techniques and their application toward analyzing the next generation of complex biotherapeutic modalities. The audience will learn how electric field mediated separation methods can be utilized in identifying important post translational modifications influencing safety and efficacy characteristics of a drug. Additionally, common separation challenges relating to deamidated species, hydrophobic and hydrophilic peptides, and low abundant glycoforms are addressed with improved capillary electrophoresis workflows.
Learning Objectives
- Compare analytical techniques and understand their application toward biotherapeutic characterization
- Describe rapid workflows to assess the charge heterogeneity of therapeutic proteins
- Illustrate advantages of capillary electrophoresis based methods for quality attribute monitoring
Webinars will be available for unlimited on-demand viewing after live event.
