C-C motif chemokine receptor-like 2 (CCRL2), is a non-signaling 7TM receptor, referred to as an atypical chemokine receptor (ACKR). Unlike conventional GPCRs, ACKRs are unable to activate G-protein dependent signaling and the cellular responses required to direct cell migration. Surface plasmon resonance microscopy (SPRm) incorporates the features of SPR, and Microscopy, allowing the user to measure label free binding to challenging cell membrane targets on whole cells. Pfizer utilized SPRm along with other biophysical techniques to characterize ligand and antibody binding to CCRL2. In this webinar, we will also provide an overview of the technology with various small molecule and antibody binding examples.
Learning Objectives
- Describe principles of SPRm
- Review case studies of small molecule and antibody binding
- Discover about label-free GPCR binding affinity and kinetics on whole cells
Webinars will be available for unlimited on-demand viewing after live event.
