This scholarship welcomes applicants enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program (BA, BS) to apply for funding to offset costs associated with academic pursuits in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) field.
Textbooks and materials for undergraduate STEM programs can often be expensive, especially if they need to be purchased new. The Labroots Undergraduate Back to School scholarship will provide one incoming or current undergraduate student with $1000 to directly offset the costs of course textbooks and materials. The scholarship is merit-based and applicants should describe their qualifications in the application process.
Labroots supports undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in STEM disciplines. This program is open to students both in, and outside the US; there are no geographical limits for applicants. Labroots wishes to encourage all students to stay in science and aims to help students work towards their research and educational goals.
Eligibility:
"I'm so grateful to Labroots for giving me this extra support to help make my first year easier! I'll be buying the first of many university textbooks and course materials I will use on my way to becoming a doctor."
