follistatin (C-8) Alexa Fluor® 790 | Santa Cruz Biotechnology

mouse monoclonal IgG2b; follistatin Antibody (C-8) is an IgG2b κ mouse monoclonal follistatin antibody (also designated Activin-Binding Protein antibody, or FS antibody) that detects the follistatin protein of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA. follistatin Antibody (C-8) is available as both the non-conjugated anti-follistatin antibody form, as well as multiple conjugated forms of anti-follistatin antibody, including agarose, HRP, PE, FITC and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Follistatin is a high affinity binding protein of activin originally isolated for their role in regulating the release of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). Follistatin forms a group of interrelated factors with activins and inhibins, members of the transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-beta) superfamily. Activin, follistatin and activin receptors are expressed in many tissues where they function as autocrine/paracrine regulators of a variety of physiological processes including reproduction. Follistatin is an important regulator of pituitary FSH secretion.
