cathepsin E (D-8) Alexa Fluor® 680 | Santa Cruz Biotechnology

mouse monoclonal IgG1; cathepsin E Antibody (D-8) is an IgG1 κ mouse monoclonal cathepsin E antibody (also designated CTSE antibody) that detects the cathepsin E protein of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) and ELISA. cathepsin E Antibody (D-8) is available as both the non-conjugated anti-cathepsin E antibody form, as well as multiple conjugated forms of anti-cathepsin E antibody, including agarose, HRP, PE, FITC and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The cathepsin family of proteolytic enzymes contains several diverse classes of proteases. The cysteine protease class comprises cathepsins B, L, H, K, S and O. The aspartyl protease class is composed of cathepsins D and E. Cath-epsin G is in the serine protease class. Most cathepsins are lysosomal and each is involved in cellular metabolism, participating in various events such as peptide biosynthesis and protein degradation. Cathepsin E is a nonlysosomal, intracellular proteinase.
