It's that time of the year again. If you're having trouble breathing, or experiencing a lot of sneezing or mucus, you're likely experiencing inflammation of passages in the lungs, nose, and esophagus from pollen.
Pollen is dealt with by your immune cells, which work to dissipate the pollen as quickly as possible. Those sneezing and watery eye symptoms you get are actually your body working as hard as it can to remove the foreign matter from your body.
People have dealt with allergic reactions to pollen since the beginning of time. It's commonly called ‘Hay Fever.'
But what can you do to fix it?
There are many over-the-counter drugs that you can pick up at a local drug store, but scientists also seem to support the theory that ingesting parasitic worms can actually prevent symptoms of Hay Fever and other diseases.
I'm not sure if I like that idea… but there's sure to be someone out there willing to give it a try.
